The Park MedSpa came to be as an outgrowth of Dr. Arthur Miller’s experience over many years working with skin care, and lasers in conjunction with his busy Family Practice. He has prided himself with giving personalized care in a professional manner always with the patient in mind to achieve the best possible results.
To establish the MedSpa, Dr. Miller partnered with Marina Shepelevsky, an esthetician with 35 years of experience who has developed a phenomenal international reputation in NY for treating problem skin, in particular she is an expert in treating acne and aging skin. Together, The Park MedSpa, in Highland Park, NJ, was established to create a very unique experience. The goal is to give to the community the benefits of quality skin care by estheticians and well trained medical professionals in a discreet, private setting.
The Spa has a state of the art laser which can address many skin problems including hair removal, skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, photo damage, brown spots, melasma, spider veins, rosecea, telangiectasia, psoriasis, scar revision and in particular acne. Acne treatments is our specialty and we have been very successful at treating it.
Our boutique Spa will offer you a free consultation, a relaxed and unique atmosphere with a fair price structure and the opportunity to benefit from special programs and promotions throughout the year.

Arthur H. Miller, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been in practice since 1986. He was awarded the degree of Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2000.

Arthur H. Miller, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been in practice since 1986. He was awarded the degree of Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2000. Dr. Miller is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has been honored twice by this department for his voluntary teaching of 3rd-year medical students doing their Family Medicine rotation at Highland Park Family Practice. He also served as Chairman of the Family Medicine Department at the JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. Besides his Family Practice, Dr. Miller has developed a special interest in skin conditions- particularly acne treatments and has more than 15 years of experience with laser therapies for the skin. In 2019, he opened The Park MedSpa with his wife Marina Shepelevsky, an experienced Esthetician who specializes in acne facials, to serve Highland Park, NJ and the surrounding communities with a full array of skin care services and products. Her unwavering passion shines brightest when she witnesses the transformation of severe acne into radiant, smooth skin. Known for her unique, relaxing, and rejuvenating facials, Marina has garnered an international following, drawing clients from Australia, Hawaii, Israel, and across the New York metropolitan area. Marina's journey in esthetics spans across Russia, Israel, and New Jersey, where she studied at the Innovate Salon Academy, integrating diverse experiences into her specialized skill set. She takes pride in crafting bespoke facial treatments and providing comprehensive facial training for the Aestheticians at The Park MedSpa, ensuring each client receives unparalleled care and expertise.

Rivka Sonts is the Park MedSpa’s Director of Public Relations, a role she greatly enjoys. She holds an MPA from Baruch College and BA in International Relations from CUNY.

Rivka Sonts is the Park MedSpa’s Director of Public Relations, a role she greatly enjoys. She holds an MPA from Baruch College and BA in International Relations from CUNY. Her experience includes working on NYC mayoral campaign and at elected officials’ offices. In addition, she has worked at various roles for non-profit organizations. Besides English she speaks Hebrew and Russian fluently. Since she is a fitness fanatic, and leads a healthy lifestyle, it is a natural fit for her to be working at The Park MedSpa, where healthy lifestyles are strongly endorsed. She is also a certified life coach with an ICM accredited coaching school. She is now offering health coaching. Rivka will coach you and create an individual plan through food, health, lifestyle, wellness, and self care to help you achieve long lasting results in whatever you do. In her spare time she enjoys exploring nature and traveling with her kids.

As a dedicated and passionate leader, Melissa R. Zeleniak brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Operations Manager at The Park MedSpa. With 5 years of experience in this industry, Melissa has honed her skills in patient care, treatment planning, and consulting and other aspects of business operations. She prides herself in connecting with patients on a personal level, truly understanding their aesthetic goals and guiding them through their entire wellness journey at our MedSpa. She delivers exceptional customer service every time, and ensures you have a luxurious spa experience from the moment you enter our doors! Well versed in injectables, laser therapy, professional skin care, radio frequency and so much more — if you have a question, Melissa has the answer for you! She attended Middlesex County College locally in Edison, NJ, and with her extreme adoration for beauty and skin, she has goals of becoming an aesthetician and laser technician in the near future. During her leisure moments, she revels in nature, indulges in singing and music, cherishes time with her beloved pets, and takes immense pride in being an aunt to nine little ones!
