Dr. Arthur H. Miller, MD, FAAFP

Medical Director

Arthur H. Miller, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been in practice since 1986. He did an internship in general surgery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and a Residency in Family Practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He was awarded the degree of Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2000. ​Dr. Miller is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has been honored twice by this department for his voluntary teaching of 3rd year medical students doing their Family Medicine rotation at Highland Park Family Practice. Dr. Miller was honored with a nomination in 2010 by one of his students for the Teacher’s Guild of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also served as Chairman of the Family Medicine Department at the JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. ​Besides his Family Practice Dr. Miller has developed a special interest in skin conditions, and has more than 15 years of experience with laser therapies for the skin. He has attended aesthetic conferences including a Laser Therapy conference at Harvard University. In 2019, he opened The Park Med Spa with Marina Shepelevsky, an experienced Esthetician, to serve Highland Park, NJ and the surrounding communities with a full array of skin care services and products. Our special interests include acne, skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and superficial vein treatments.

Dr. Felix Urman

Dermatologist

Dr. Felix Urman completed the Six-Year Biomedical program at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, where he graduated Cum Laude with Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, in the top 5 in his class. He completed his Dermatology Residency at St. Lukes-Roosevelt-Beth Israel Medical Centers of Columbia University and received his Board Certification in 2005. He then served as an Attending Dermatologist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, MA. In 2006 he returned home to the New York area and has been in private practice, as well as having served as Chief of Dermatology of St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Urman is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has presented at major national and international conferences and has published extensively in the Dermatologic Literature.. He has over 20 years of experience in Cosmetic Dermatology, Botox, and Fillers.

Marina Shepelevsky

CEO

Marina Shepelevsky has over 35 years of experience as an Esthetician. She is an expert at dealing with problem skin and cutting-edge rejuvenation techniques. Her passion is exhibited most enthusiastically when she treats someone who is plagued with severe acne and then transformed into a beautiful smooth face. A facial done by Marina is a unique, relaxing and rejuvenating experience. This is why she has an international following with clients coming from Australia, Hawaii, and Israel along with the New York metropolitan area. Marina studied in Russia, Israel and New Jersey at the Innovate Salon Academy and integrates her experience and training into a unique and specialized skill that makes her stand out amongst her peers.

Shannon Wolf

Medical Aesthetician

Shannon has over 5 years of experience working as an Esthetician. She graduated from Innovate Salon Academy in South Plainfield NJ. She specializes in Acne facials and body waxing. Shannon joined our team of professionals here at The Park Med Spa and used her experience and knowledge to offer conventional skin- repairing services including Microdermabrasion, Chemical peels, Organic facials, Eye lash extensions, Body scrubs and waxing services. She is excellent with an incredible attention to detail and strongly believes in helping educate her clients on how to maintain youthful healthy skin not only with professional services but a good at home routine as well. She is excited to meet you and make you feel your most beautiful.

Rivka Sonts

Director of Public Relations

Rivka Sonts is the Park Med Spa’s Director of Public Relations, a role she greatly enjoys. She holds an MPA from Baruch College and BA in International Relations from CUNY. Her experience includes working on NYC mayoral campaign and at elected officials’ offices. In addition, she has worked at various roles for non-profit organizations. Besides English she speaks Hebrew and Russian fluently. Since she is a fitness fanatic, and leads a healthy lifestyle, it is a natural fit for her to be working at The Park Med Spa, where healthy life styles are strongly endorsed. In her spare time she enjoys exploring nature and traveling with her kids.

Alison Brown M.S., R.D.N

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Alison H. Brown is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who aims to heal and nourish by guiding clients to make healthy diet and lifestyle changes. Alison graduated from Rutgers University with a Master’s of Science degree in Nutritional Science and has over 15 years’ experience providing nutrition therapy to clients. Driven by the philosophy that food is medicine, Alison uses nutrition to help clients prevent, treat, and manage a variety of health conditions and meet their own wellness goals. Alison provides nutrition services in weight loss management, integrative and functional nutrition, skin health (eczema, acne, aging skin), inflammatory disorders, digestive health, and meal planning/culinary literacy. When she isn’t working with clients, you can find her spending time with her husband and two children, cuddling with her cat, lifting weights at a local Crossfit gym, and gardening. Whether your goal is healthy glowing skin, weight loss, or wellness, Alison is here to help achieve your goals at the Park Med Spa.

Sumbul Rizvi

Medical Aesthetician

Sumbul Rizvi is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician. She brings extensive knowledge and passion for Aesthetics to our team. Sumbul specializes in medical grade facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, IPL photofacials and radiofrequency skin tightening treatments. She has advanced certifications and training in Coolsculpting, WarmSculpting, TempSure skin tightening and HIFEM technology for reducing fat and building muscle. Her passion for knowledge in the dynamic, ever-changing skincare/beauty industry ensures that she stays informed with the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients in skincare, which she loves to share with her patients and develops individualized home care regimens for anti-aging and radiant skin. She loves connecting with patients and will make you feel right at home. She is passionate about her patients looking and feeling their best.

Jesse Pannell, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Jesse Pannell, PA-C is a Board Certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Microbiology from Texas State University, where is she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Jesse then obtained her Master’s of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, graduating first in her class. She has been practicing in medical aesthetics for the past two years and has found her passion in medicine Prior to her role and medical aesthetics, Jesse specialized in neurosurgery, with over 10 years of clinical experience. This role allowed her to develop various operative and procedural skills as well as to enhance her understanding of a comprehensive approach to mental and physical health. As an avid fitness enthusiast, she enjoys coaching CrossFit and practicing yoga in her spare time. Jesse feels that subtle aesthetic enhancements can provide the perfect complement to diet and exercise, thereby playing an important roll in one’s overall confidence and sense of well-being.
